Com uma constância criativa, Pedro nunca para; ele afirma que essa freneticidade de abordagens é a forma de lembrar de onde veio e o que superou, buscando a cada dia melhorar o seu interior e sentir-se cada vez mais vivo.
Vícios mudaram e novos valores foram descobertos. Em 2016, fundou o Universo Ratsuo, o lar desses 10 heterônimos, onde o "R" simboliza a ressignificação, o reviver e o renovar que aplicou em sua nova jornada após o coma. Em sua carreira, Matsuo destaca-se pela instalação "The Matsuo Plastic Light Show" na 13ª Bienal do Mercosul, pela performance "Digitalonologico" no MACA (Fundación Pablo Atchugarry) e pela exposição "Sementes Brilham Frente às Eternas Cinzas" na Galeria Gestual.
Hoje, Pedro segue investigando a tensão entre o efêmero e o eterno. Seja através das múltiplas visões de seus heterônimos ou de suas novas pesquisas com a luz e materiais perenes, sua missão permanece inalterada: utilizar seus meios criativos para guiar o espectador através dos momentos mais obscuros de suas vidas.

Pedro Matsuo, born in Porto Alegre on July 9, 1996, is a creative director who employs diverse approaches in his work. He operates through more than 10 heteronyms, such as Báumk Brofan, Pe Digegrim, Ratsuo, and Fernando Penmedialb, among others. Each persona works in a distinct creative field, ranging from painting and sculpture to video mapping, photography, and other forms of expression.
His work intensified on April 17, 2014, following a "near-departure" episode. Upon waking, he reflected deeply on the values of existence, subsequently focusing his artistic production on themes such as life, vices, and light. With constant creativity, Pedro never stops; he states that this frenzy of creative approaches is his way of remembering where he came from and what he overcame, seeking each day to improve his inner self and feel increasingly alive.
Vices changed, and new life values were discovered. In 2016, he founded the Ratsuo Universe, the home of these 10 heteronyms, where the "R" symbolizes the Resignification, Reviving, and Renewing that he applied to his new journey after his coma. Career highlights include the installation "The Matsuo Plastic Light Show" at the 13th Mercosul Biennial, the performance "Digitalonologico" at MACA (Fundación Pablo Atchugarry), and the exhibition "Sementes Brilham Frente às Eternas Cinzas" (Seeds Shine Before Eternal Ashes) at Galeria Gestual.
Today, Pedro continues to investigate the tension between the ephemeral and the eternal. Whether through the multiple visions of his heteronyms or his new research with light and perennial materials, his mission remains unchanged: to use his creative mediums to guide the spectator through the darkest moments of their lives.
